d.i.y. edamame hummus

I finished my run this morning at Talia's house, then picked her and her stroller up and walked home.  It was a nice cooldown walk!  Talia was having a little bit of a rough morning, but had a markedly improved mood when she saw Mosie!
(Please note Mosie's wide-eyed look of terror.)

Today was the great edamame hummus experiment!  First tahini and garlic:
Edamame.
And whir away.
Except it's kind of bland.  I need to put it back in the food processor with more garlic, salt, and maybe lemon?  Right now Talia is napping, so the hummus remix will have to wait.

Mosie is enjoying the quiet morning.

  2. food network suggests you add cumin, coriander, lemon zest, and parsley to the ademame hummus!

    I have to tell you I bought a tub of edamame hummus at Trader Joe's on Monday and it's already almost gone...and you know it's not because someone else has been helping me eat it.
    It's soooooo yummy :)
