Had the worst wake-up ever this morning. Mosie jumped on the bed in playfulness but somehow one of her claws landed right IN my toe. Ow ow ow! NOT a pleasant way to wake up.

I'll go first. A funny quirk about me: bruises on bananas make me gag. Literally.
i open my mouth (in a weird way) when i am excited or happy.
ReplyDeletei like to eat all the broken crackers or chips first because i feel kind of bad for them - then i break all the other ones because i prefer them smaller
ReplyDeleteMy whole life is one giant quirk.
ReplyDeleteMy first trip to a drive-in movie was just a couple weeks ago. Not sure how I made it that long without having been to one :)
ReplyDeleteI must have a fan running to sleep at night!
ReplyDeletei hate when a bar of soap gets "soggy" and coated with goo.
ReplyDeleteMy food courses can't touch each other. And I eat each course one at a time beginning with the thing I like the least and ending with the item I like the most. Or if I'm really hungry, start with one of the better ones, but not the best one.
ReplyDeleteI won't touch any artificially blue food. Blueberries? No problem. Blue cotton candy or M & M's? Nope, won't go near them. No idea why!
ReplyDeletegood luck on your race!
ReplyDeletehmmm...a funny quirk? i never walk through my house. i split leap, cartwheel, or run, hahah.
Good luck at the race!!! =)
ReplyDeleteFunny Quirk - I refuse to eat chips that are curled over on themselves. I will either leave them on my plate and throw them away, give them to someone else who will eat them, or throw them back in the bag... Sometimes, I will break the chip so its not curled over anymore and then eat it...
Funny and sorta embarrassing quirk: when I "speak" in a high-pitched tone toward our kitty, saying his name "Annn-deee (Andy)", he meows like crazy and I get such a kick out of it!
ReplyDeleteMy funny quirk - I like to separate my M&M's into color groupings, according to my color preference: blue, green, yellow, red, orange, brown. I make as many complete groups (complete group contains all 6 colors) as possible, then eat backwards from my smallest piles to the largest. Within each individual pile, I eat backwards from my least favorite color (brown) to my favorite (blue).
ReplyDeleteThat being said, Katie, please send me all your blue M&M's as they're my favorite, after the Easter bag of M&M's, of course, because in my mind, they taste the very best.
Also, those two chip entries ARE quirky! We fight for the rolled up chips at my house!!
Mosie! Don't do that! :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited about the marathon!
I love bruised bananas. That is one funny quirk about me. :)
Another is that I like to eat around the center of an apple, then the top, then the bottom. My husband always takes a bite out of the top first thing when I share with him :(
I find it hard to leave the house without checking...a couple of times...that everything (stove, tv, lights, coffee maker) is turned off.
ReplyDeleteAnytime I come back from a trip, long or short - no matter what time of day or night it is - I have to unpack everything. I like the feeling of knowing that I'll wake up the next morning and everything be in "it's spot."
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is just addiction, but I go a little crazy if my gmail isn't constantly up. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't put condiments on my burgers. I'd rather dip my burger in the condiments. Gives me a chance to have my burger multiple ways. :D
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the marathon Kim! You've done all the training; now it's time to see the results! You'll do great. :o) One quirk about me, I never take a cold shower or bath. It could be 95 degrees outside and I just got back from a run, but I without fail I have to have warm water.
ReplyDeleteMy quirk: I suck at waking up. My husband literally drags me out of bed every morning. He grabs my legs and pulls me off the bed.
ReplyDeleteDoes this count as a quirk or just a life skills FAIL?
I have to have the volume and temperature set to an odd number when I'm driving.
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of detergents, specifically dishwasher powdered detergent. Before I put it in to run the load I sniff it for a long time, kind of like an addict. Best part about my quirk? My husband also has an uncanny love for dishwasher detergent. I mean if anybody saw either of us trying to run a load of dishes, they'd probably question our sanity. It smells sooooo goooooood!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh...did I make the deadline!?!? I look at the clock at 11:11 at least once a day (seriously). Often times I do it twice. And then I get really freaked out by my own whacked out freakishness and turn clocks away from me for a while.
